About the Journal

Knowledge has no single center.

INFINIA is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, Open Access scholarly journal published in the United States by Open Heritage Press, within the broader academic ecosystem of the Maya Heritage Center and in institutional partnership with the International Foundation for Peace.

Under the principle “Where Knowledge Crosses Borders,” INFINIA provides a platform for rigorous and original research that crosses disciplinary, geographical, linguistic, and epistemic boundaries. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers worldwide and promotes meaningful dialogue among disciplines, research traditions, institutions, and scholarly communities.

INFINIA is particularly committed to broadening the geography of scholarly communication, strengthening international collaboration and South–South academic exchange, and creating connections among researchers and institutions across the Global South and other regions of the world.

The journal welcomes contributions from the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, law, technology, health sciences, environmental studies, and other fields, including interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research addressing complex contemporary questions.

INFINIA operates under an Open Access model. All published content is freely accessible to readers, and authors are not charged Article Processing Charges (APCs). The journal supports rigorous peer review, Open Science, responsible research practices, academic integrity, multilingual scholarly communication, and the broad circulation of knowledge.

INFINIA is founded on the conviction that scientific and scholarly excellence is strengthened when knowledge can circulate across borders, disciplines, languages, cultures, and intellectual traditions.
